Poison Ivy

Recently at work I have had a surprising number of people sourcing fancy dress costumes for parties, I swear this is the best part of my day, and maybe even get a little too involved, see I don't mind a good mustache or bad teeth or something gross or odd when dressing up, most people however, especially the female variety still want to look good and attractive to the male of the species. I guess I don't.

So when recently I've had a few say that they're off to a fancy dress party and that they're dressing as Poison Ivy, being the 90's child that I am, instantly pictured Drew Barrymore as Ivy in the 1992 movie Poison Ivy, with that awesome tattoo on her upper thigh, of which I couldn't manage to find and image of. But this is my image board of Poison Ivy. Unfortunately, there was some confusion on my part when they wanted nylon tricot mini dresses and I was leading them to the lace leggings - Oh of course, they were referring to the comic book character! But never mind, I'll keep my Poison Ivy fantasy alive right here. So totally wearable.

a little piece of home.

this is a little piece of what I call home. x

Imogen Barron.

Makes me smile. Australian fashion has sometimes had the tendency to imitate its foreign counterparts and be a little contrived. It has also tried to pretend it's best friends with other sub genres and failed miserably. Not here. This is awesome. Fashion and intelligence go hand in hand, and this is pure genius.

Third and Delaware

One interesting part of Fashion Week, is obviously the fashion that it brings to the forefront, but one must note how I came to this particular post. We remember him as 'David, Darlene's boyfriend', and for now his real name shall remain irrelevant, but 'David' was spotted at fashion week! Sadly sporting some charcoal suit and crisp shirt ensemble and slick hair to match his slick attire, but we'll forgive him for that, because he is 'David, Darlene's boyfriend,' and because it reminded me of Third and Delaware, fashion highlights from every single episode of Roseanne. I'm not kidding, this is brilliant, who comes up with this stuff! And what's so god damn good is how totally on point and relevant all this 90's fashion is now, I would happily parade all of these sartorial looks, unfortunately I can't say the same about some of the looks presented this recent Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, but Third and Delaware!

Brohemoth

Ah, yeah, I know, hiatus. But in my defense its fashion week, I've been rather drunk at times and less than articulate at other times, but gathering much, and will place it all here, as soon as I can fashionably gather myself and my thoughts similtaniously. In the interim..
This is some of the photographic escapades of what we refer to as Brohemoth. Last night we all got a little too retarded.
But this is some stuff from his blog.
